Hi does any one know exactly where the glass break sensors are on
A6 avant it is a 1998/9 model 4B/C5
My alarm is going off all the time .
The floor pans are dry .
VAG DIAG has told me its the glass break sensors .
has any one actualy seen one in the flesh because ive had many panels off and pulled back trims to have a look and found nothing , ive been told i can short them out to get rid of the fault but what is the correct wires to join together and in which colour blocks in the foot-wells.
Any pictures will be the best help or any pdf docs.
Can any one help please .
Thank you for your time.

maybe it's the interior ultrasonic sensors? maybe thats what they mean?

As i've smashed a window on mine (locked keys under bonnet!) and i've changed the glass, and never saw any sensors.

found them today phoned window fitter who replaced one few years ago
who put me in the right direction look for the alarm logo and there in that corner 2 wires attached to window on both sides then join the 2 wires together reset alarm unlock lock several times:yahoo::kissmyrings:
