hi new to site but hope you all can help me,, my a6 c5/4b model 2004 auto/multronic chrome gearknob suround is all scratched. and i have new one to replace it with but i dont know how to remove gearknob???? do you pull the button on side out and pull g/knob up or do you pull button out and unscrew g/knob? or is there some othere way ? . as sombody sugested the actuall leather g/knob splits in half ? as i dont wont to break anything by doind wrong proceedure....... hope you can help me /hope to get some replies
