Replacing side light????

Hi, I have a 2004 (53 plate) A6, my offside side light bulb has blown, I have tried to replace it but had to give up!

I tried by removing the plastic housing behind the light unit and squeezing my hand in, I tried pulling and twisting the side light housing but it just turns?

Can someone help, how do I change the bulb? Do I have to remove the whole light unit?????

Any help would be appreciated

I did a sidelight on my C5 earlier, cover off then it is a bit fiddly but a twisting pulling motion seemed to get it free easily enough.

Don't go nuts on it though...
