I'm very sorry to say that I'm selling my lovely RS6 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
I absolutely love it, but it's a little too soon for my business to be supporting such a beast so it's something a little more modest for the time being.
However, if anyone wants to jump the queue, here is your opportunity. Daytona Grey Avant, Silver Grey leather, Carbon Fibre trim, GSM phone kit and auto dipping & folding door mirrors. Serious offers considered.
Cheers
Paul

I really don't know John.
From the articles I've read so far, the S4 doesn't really seem that "special" and I suspect that it will depreciate faster than the RS6 and I will ultimately loose more on it.
My big problem is that my wife simply doesn't see the point of "nice" cars and doesn't like the idea of losing large amounts of cash through depreciation...which I can sort of understand, if you view them is simply transport, which I don't.
However, the spanner has been well and truely thrown into the works now because my wife has now said that she is happy for me to keep the RS6 if I really want to.
Now it's down to me and I don't know what to do /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
..help !

At the moment, they are so rare that I guess it's still worth what you paid for it, if not a bit more. In 6 months or so there will probably be a few more about, plus maybe some imports, so depreciation will start to increase.

Given the relative rarity it will still depreciate relatively slowly, but even 10% p.a. on £60k is a lot of money 'wasted'!

I'd suggest getting rid of it in the next few months (maybe before the reg change ?) to maximise your money. Maybe find something (cheaper) to keep you amused until your next 'toy' arrives - next version of the RS4 ??
