Tyre pressure

Hi, I have just purchased a 2008 Audi A6 S-Line and the tyres that are on are :- Pirelli 245/40 R18 97Y ZR - the problem I have is that inside the fuel cap it does not mention these tyres and to be honest the response from Audi is really vague - does anyone know what tyre pressure to use for the abobe tyres?

I have a similar problem. I have an 2005 A6 Sline, and my fuel cap lists 41psi front and 44psi rear. At these pressures the centre of the tyre wears out really quick.

Again, Audi vague about exact details.
