parking brake malfunction

on the last couple of days my wife is stoped at a set of light but when pulling away the following msg is displayed parking brake malfunction. she is unable to ralease brake the switch flashes its seem after about 10 min she is able to clear by turning the car off and on. on the second occassion she called the audi roadside assitence they said no code had been recorded so thier is no problem driver error. this happend only twice car is 56 plate had now for just over a week from audi dealer

anyone have any info on this

New carshave too many electrical sensors, probabily one of them at fault or a fault in the wiring.
Sorry can't be more helpful but thats the nature of new cars electrical systems.
