Quick wheel help please!

Hi Guys,

I have a buyer interested in my B5 RS4 wheels, they are 18x8.5, ET20 - will these fit on his 1998 1.8t A6, or is the offset too high for the width?

Any help would be very much apreciated.

I'd say so, std offset is ET35, i have 8.5 width wheels on my car with ET35 offset and sits flush.

15mm more would be illegal.
