hi i have a 2000 a6 1.8t quattro avant and was thinking of putting a blow off valve in has any one done this and are they any good or just a waste of money

look for a cheap twin piston one on ebay.
May make ur car run slighly rich as 1.8T has a re-circulating one which keeps the air within the system past the MAF.
I have a Forge one on my TDi, completely different engine and on a diesel has no performance gain whatsoever, but the sound is pretty cool, even if it's from a diesel chug.
I'd do it.
