Anyone know if the lower center bumper grill off a post 2002 A6 (chrome suround) will fit into the bumper of a pre 2002 car.

No, it doesnt, it is slightly narrower I bought one of Fleabay which said it fits a 2001, it doesnt so I have a brand new one sat in the garage.
