    DPT Tuning module for sale - Offers ?

    My car was written off recently (it wasn't my fault !), this box I rescued. 1 year old. AKE engined 2001 quattro 180BHP. Looks absolutely as new. Much improved torque, BHP (claimed 210) and most importantly MPG improves from 33 average to 38+ with 50 + being acheived on a run. Money back if not happy. Try out if local to Huntingdon,Cambs

    Suitable for Audi/VW 150,155,163 and 180BHP V6 TDI s but other vehicles are covered with the VP44 pump. Jumpers supplied with setup sheet included.

    Was your car an auto or manual? I tried 3 on my quattro sport auto, 1 was faulty (drank diesel), next 2 would't let my car start. Was told they were incompatible with the tiptronic box.

    Mine was a six speeder manual and had no issues from the word go. You would think they would know the application better than that by now. Did you go for a remap or find another, compatible box ?

    I ended up getting a "Spider" tuning box from DIESEL TUNER SYSTEMS. Very similer to DPTs, only it works! Supposed to be an "intelligent" box adapting to driving conditions,I am very, very pleased with it.

    Do you have any rolling road maps for the car after the box is fitted to given some proof of the alleged power gains?

    And also an idea of what you originally paid to help give us an idea of a sensible offer?

    The numbers might have been interesting but didn't get on the rollers. An earlier post found me complaining about the engine being 'flat' until 17-1800rpm. This was improved with the DPT by a couple of hundred rpm or so. Makes all the difference.The lag is a feature of quite a large old turbo and 1 3/4 ton of A6 avant. The engine feels more refined and has new, urgent throttle response. Another thread, not relating to this engine but interesting. Price on the DPT web site.
