S6 Alarm Problem - Help!!!

Hi All,

My S6 seems to have developed a problem with its alarm.

Basically it has just started going off at random.

Is there any way to diagnose the cause of the problem without hooking it up to a vag-com device?

If not what do i need to do.

Any, and all, help greatly appreciated.

vag-com is your first port of call.
have you tried pressing the internal sensor off button down by the b pillar (drivers door)

i tried the internal switch but to no avail.

It's looking like it may need vag-com.....

not sure how similar to the alarms in the A3's? but these suffer from the batteries in the sounder unit corroding which sets it off at random, might be worth a look? do they indictators flash when alarm goes off or just the sounder?
