I have a 2000 Audi S6 that surrently has 8 x 17inch wheels with ET35mm, I am looking to change the wheels to Replica S3 ones which only come in a 8 x 18inch with either a ET42mm or ET45mm. This will mean the alloys will sit 7mm closer to the centre of the car, I don't think they will hit anything as they are only a 8inch rim, Will they be OK? Also what about fitting 10mm spacers to bring the offset back to 32mm?

Cheers

best bet is if you're willing to gamble is try em an see how they fit/look that will be the biggest issue is how they look.

As for clearance u got no issue really, 9" maybe 9.5" on et 35 is the max u can go, i've got 20" rims x 8.5" wide on stock a6 arches, with an offset of ET35

If they look odd spacers are an option, just make sure they are hubcentric ones as these are safer.

Cheers, although I actually found a set with the 35mm offset, so all should be ok. Will post pics when I get them on..

Cheers

Yeah if you can buy wheels with correct offset, do! Makes life so much easier and safer.
