decat pipe?

i have a 2000 1.8t a6 avant and all the decats i can find are for golfs and a4s. i no its the same engine but they have a downpipe then the cat, my cat is bolted straight to turbo. any ideas of anywher i can purchase a decat? and/or does anyone agree with the idea of gutting out the current cat = cheeper option? write back

I'm looking for a de-cat, for my TDI, but can't remember a site i found with one on.

U can't use one for a golf cos the engines are mounted in opposite directions and so different exhaust setups.

My advice is, which is what i'll be doing is getting a Custom Exhaust manufacturer to make me a turbo to exhaust downpipe, i've already got a modified jetex s/s system just need a turbo to exhaust pipe to unleash some more power and get a bit of noise from the wastegate.

yeah thats sounds like exaclty what i wana do! lol. so all i can fink of who is near me is powerflow? you reckon its worth asking them if they can pipe it from turbo back? or are you talkin bout something a bit more specialist? i have used them for all my cars and the s/s exhuast systems i liked alot but dnt no if they do custom decat turbo back work?

Best bet is ask em, i use Infinity Exhausts near Bristol, he makes anything.

And thanks, i've been working on it for 4 years, still a work in progress.
