S6 Battery

Me again

I ordered a new battery for my S6 Avant 51 plate the other day.

It came and was massive!!

I checked the one thats in and seemed nearly 3 inches smaller that the one I had ordered.

I checked the spec and even went t halfords to look at another one and it was same size as what ordered.

The new battery would not even fit on battery tray!

I wondered has anyone else with S6's had this issue, I understand needs to be a big battery due to 800 amp cranking power but it wont fit in.

I have a tdi A6 on an 02 plate and I have searched everywhere for a battery of the right size. The only place to buy is the audi dealership and it will cost £120. part 000915105aj size 315 x 175 x 190. Let me know if you find a better alternative.
