what thatcham approved alarm is on my car ?

If it is the standard factory fit it is rated by thatcham as 2/1
however some insurance companies do not recognise it a sthatcham approved as i found out two years ago.
After i tried changing my insurance to get it cheaper. the company (who specialise in audi insurance said oh thats just factory fit and you dont get a discount for that. therefore your insurance actually is going up.) Hence told em to stick it
I think yours is a VAG1315 T2 to check go to the dealers and get them to pull the VIN info on there system the code will be in there and they can point it out cant remeber what the code is though sorry.
