A6 Avant - Towbar and parking sensors

Hi guys,

A colleague at workk has an A6 Avant with parking sensors and is contemplating having a towbar fitted. Would the fitment of such a device conflict with the parking sensors already installed?

Forgot to add that this car is a 2005 please car

My Allroad has the factory Rear Parking Sensors and Towbar. The Sensors are not effected by the Towbar. On the Audi system when a Trailer is hitched up and connected to the vehicle electrics then the Rear Parking Sensors are disabled.
