Faulty Indicator

Can anybody help me please .... I have a problem with my indicator for my 1998 audi A6 1.8t . The Indicator stalk is loose so when indicating left I have to litteraly lift the indicator stalk back up to the middle position but quite often as it is loose it goes to far and ends up indicating right. Most annoying as you can imagine , any help or ideas on what i need would be most welcome .

The latch in stalk is faulty/loose. Solution is to change whole unit(stalk). You can get it off ebay or from scrapyard. Be carefull with airbag tape when removing steering wheel.
