Headlamp removal

2002 A6

How do you take out headlamps on these cars.
Just trying to change a bulb.

I have un-done two screws at top of unit , Headlamp moves but still seems to be held in. Not sure if i have missed something simple?

You don't need to take the headlights out to change the bulb, send me a pm, with your email address, with the year and engine code and whether you have xenon's or not and I'll send you the procedure.
In the meantime if you look at the back of the headlight unit you'll see 2 large metal clips, open these and the whole bulb holder comes out for easy access.

If the procedure is the same for my 2001 A6 Avant 2.5TDI which has Xenons and self levelling then I would also appreciate a copy.
