Allroad extended warranty,is it worth it?

My Allroad 2.5 tiptronic ltd edition is coming up to three years old,I have owned the car from new it has only covered 21000 miles,with no problems except a faulty brake light switch and a defective parking sensor.
Should I spend the £750 on the extra cover for a year;how reliable are they?

tbh £750 is not a lot of dough for peace of mind imho !

Are you sure its a tiptronic and not a multitronic. If its a multitronic do a search on the site for the problems with these gearboxes and the cost to fix then you might find £750 isn't to much

I'm pretty sure it is tiptronic.
