Chris didn't you have a set of Fives? Are you looking at selling them?
Wes, i still have them mate, arguably the best looking wheel you can fit to a a6 estate...they need a couple of tyres though ! I have a set of 5 wheels, 2 need tyres, 2 will be ok for a few kkk miles, few curbs and scratches but that's to be expected with my driving style and skinny tyres...mind you the 20" wheels are all curbed after only a couple of days !

im toying with the idea of an A6 avant TDi as im looking at the extra space compared to the A4 Avant.
some really nice cars in this thread.
You won't be disappointed mate, they are heavy barges but with the right mods they handle great ! Here are a few more pictures of mine, fitted the rest of the rs6 interior the other day, still need to clean it and condition it so it looks better !

that looks lovely Chris.
yea im seriously toying with the idea. being 6.2" and having the 2 boys once im comfy in the seat there's not a lot of space behind me in the A4.
I still have a soft spot for an A4 110 TDi quattro avant but the more I think on it the A6 Avant would make more sense for me.

I know of a very tidy 1.9tdi quattro sport, all mods done: bv43 turbo, 11mm genuine VAG pump, 0.216 nozzles, chipped ECU, pd 130 intake and boost pipes, Eibach Pro springs and Bilstein b8 shocks, brand new clutch, flywheel, new engine/gearbox mounts, facelift bumper, sports spec, 312mm brakes, new suspension arms, etc. The chap bought a 51 reg a6 avant quattro just for the same reason- he has 2 small kids so needs more room ! He just fitted Eibach springs and shocks to his "new" a6 today but still have 2nd thoughts about the a4...

gone from this:

to this:

Mods include: 18" RS4 alloys, JOM Coilovers, colour coded front and rear bumpers, debadged grill, HIDs, Limo Tinted windows, wind deflectors and full leather interior. Very happy with the result considering the car was sold without mot and £500
Its a 1.8t 2wd

Facelift models have a few extra touches up their sleeves, the white one does look good indeed ! It does not take much to make an attractive car out of one of them, just the right stance and a pair of nice alloys and presto, a head turner ! I wish my a6 was a widebody...

Also, quattrojames, I have a set of those wheels that I am currently repairing to put on mine. Having them powdercoated white. They are incredibly hard to find but luckily a friend had a spare set (has a mk4 golf on air) and offered me them for a decent price! Cant wait! That picture is what inspired me to get an a6

sold the dectanes and went back to oem, sooooo much better.....and now milltekked...Pics are taken 15 min after a clean.... complete waste of time in this weather... without quattro i cant even get to my home :bash:

Changed over from the A4 B5 forum a while back after buying my C5, so 3 months later I finally get around to getting a pic up.
It's a 2003 sport spec 2.5tdi model

and how have you got a double din sized headunit in that space? i realise its the factory sat nav, but is everything lower than normal?

Yes, you need a double din cage and a different climate control panel (the A4's can be cut down, not sure on the 6), it all sits down lower so you lose the cubby hole above the ash tray.

is the different climate control panel something that c5's came with? or do you need to use a B5 item?

thanks for the reply :)

When I take it out to fit the RNS I'll get it for you. I'm sure google and ebay will find one for you, I don't think they're unusual?
