I have a friend interested in buying an Allroad and as I have only owed my for a couple of months I thought I would ask the question on here.
The question is, what is the preferred model.
I know it depends on what best suits a personal need, but overall good and bad points would be great for both.
He is coming from a Legacy GTB ( jap import turbo ) and needs a car with space and off road ability.
I can only advise him on my diesel and have no experience of the 2.7 turbo.
What you gain from the turbo you loose in MPG.
Are both the TDI and Turbo engines reliable for high mileage.
Is the Allroad better in TDI or Turbo, tiptronic or manual.
