From Petrol to Diesel (loss of power)

I'm looking at trading my 1.8T A6 Avant to a newer 2004/5 A6 Avant.
The most prolific seem to be the 1.9 diesel version.
My 1.8T has been AMD'd to about 190 bhp and is okay, but will the 1.9 be a seriously underpowered engine for what is a fairly big chunk of car.
Since having an A6 an A4 Avant is just not big enough, so need to stick with the big one.

Dam right it will, dont do it, its a good engine, but not in an A6.

If diesel is the way you want to go, look at the 2.5, 2.7 or even the 3.0.

Ive had enough A6's to know and I would never make the same mistake of buying a 1.9 again.

Fine in any other models, but not the a6
