how do you change this fog light bulb ?

this is what it looks like underneith

there doesnt seem to be anyway to get to the bulb the other fog light looks like this and just twists off

but how do i change the one on the left ?

Audi's only have one rear foglight

im sure they where both working when it went for its mot and why would it have two coloured lights at the back then if theres only one ?

Its the same on both my Audi's and my dads audi. They have one rear foglight and the other is a blank. The 2 coloured bits are just to look symmetrical

the only reason im asking is because i had a guy flashing me the other day saying that only one of my fog lights was working

also it doesnt look symetrical when the ones lit and the other one aint

i think its a german or VAG thing as all the VAG cars I ever had have only had 1 foglight and i'm on my sixth now.
I suppose that most of the time the foglights are turned off and so the two lens sections look the same.

mine now works

simple bit of wiring a bulb, holder and some glue gobs a good 'un

how much does it cost for the bulb holder ?

i just used one i found in the garage from a front indicator...

trimmed it to fit glued it in place and spliced into the other fog light
