2002 audi alarm trouble, please help

hi there gents

i have been having trouble with the alarm on my a6 avant 1.9tdi 2002

first of all it was going off randomly, now sometimes it wont even arm with the keyfob??

when this happens i lock the car with the key & then the alarm works, i can then unlock with the keyfob & then arm it again with the keyfob!!

i have done a search on here butr i cant find anything close to the trouble im getting

any help much appreceated.

Your best bet is to try and get someone to run VAGCOM on it to see what sensors are setting off the alarm.
