Vag com Advice

Hi, just got m,y vag com hooked up to my A6 1.9 TDI and everything is sweet as they say. I want to make 2 minor changes. 1st, I want the alarm to beep on lock and the other is I want the car to lock when I pull away as at the moment it doesnt. If someone can give me a small guide would be great.

also remember these codes are for america -the first time i tried i got the passenger door opening on the first push of the remote!

i have just checked my coding it is 05870.

this gives one press drivers door open two presses for all doors.

beep on lock.

auto lock at 15mph.

window raise and lower from the key fob.

for my 97 2.8Q uk car

Use the additional coding to the base codes already in your car
Function Value
Add Window Up/Sunroof close, and Window Down with remote.* +64
Add 1 touch unlock of all 4 doors, trunk -04
Remove horn honk when arming -1024
Auto lock/unlock of doors (Doors lock at 15 mph and unlock when key is removed) +32

Dont rely on some elses base code unless you know it was the same as yours to tart with as these have a tendency to change through out the product life cycle. and may not necessarily work.

I agrre take a note of your base code before you start. I have used the above codes fine on my car a 2000 a6
