Puff (cloud) of white smoke on start up..Is this normal

My Audi A6 Avant 1.9Tdi Sport releases a puff (more like a cloud) of white smoke on start up every morning. Is this normal?

White 'smoke' is usually steam caused by condesation in the exhaust and engine so should be fine, its blue and black smoke that are usually bad news...
