My new A6 fianly arrives tomorrow morning after 2 weeks of waiting.
Its a 52 A6 2.5tdi Quattro Sport 180, cant wait.
Ive been driving Quattros for the last 14 years and this will be my third A6. The last one, 1.9tdi Avant was a spur of the moment choice. Bought it as I was driving to Austria and the south of France last years and needed to carry a lot of kit ( Skiing) and the wife and 3 kids.
Wished I never bought it, its been a good car but missed the Quattro dearly.
Managed to get a cambelt, water pump, tensioners etc changed as well as 4 new GSD3;s in with the price. 2 days ago the garage tell me that their mechanic says it needs new discs and pads all round. What a shame, its not me having to pay for them.
So tomorrow when I pick her up all I have to do then is refit my RNSE, BT Kit and Phatbox. Should keep me out of helping the wife anyway.
As soon as she all done and cleaned properly I'll stick some pictures up here.
