little red neons in the indoor light cluster

my red neons the ones in the roof seem dim or so im led to believe as my m8 was saying his really glow brightly and illuminate the whole front seating area are mine faulty or is he being dim

I think hes being dim. They are controlled by the cluster dimmer as well. Mine light up the centre console slightly certainly not the whole seating area.

it's more of a glow over the centre console area.

It does also depend on where you're driving.

Down dark country lanes they seem brighter and in built up areas it can be barely noticable.
