Hi all,

First post here; I got referred to this site....

Question is as per subject really. I'm thinking of getting a staggered set of 19" alloys for my A6. I have seen a set but I'm concerned about the rear wheel/tyre dimensions: 265/30/19 9.5J. Any idea if this combo would clear the arches when the car is fully laden?

Fronts are 'standard' at 235/35/19 8.5J.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Is is a quattro? not sure how imperative it is for te audi system but the overall tyre dia. cant be more than 2mm out on vauxhall 4x4 system (agreed an audi is a different kettle of fish :) )

Worth considering though.

It's not a quattro, just a 2.4 SE model. I'm not too concerned about the overall tyre diameter- I've already check this using a 'tyre calculator' and the diameter is within the 2% recommended value of the original diameter.

More of a concern is the clearance of the arches. I would go for 235/35/19 all round but I think wider rears would look far better:yum:
