My 99 A6 1.8T SE tiptronic is coming up on 80k miles. I've 2 questions
1)According to the schedule the ATF is due to be changed. I've read that you need to fill the gearbox whilst monitoring the temperature to get the fill level right and that its a dealer only job. Will vagcom do this for me and if so is the fluid change easy (i've got a trolley jack and axle stands or does it need to be on a lift).
2)I read the CVT gearbox needs a belt change at around the 100K mark. Does the Tiptronic need any major overhauls and what sort of mileage have the guys on the forum got out of their Tiptronics
