Erratic idle

On my 2000 1.8TQ Avant whenever I put the aircon on the idle goes very erratic and almost wants to stall.

Any ideas?

Clean the air intake valve (the butterfly thing where the air intake meets the throttle body). Made my 2.4 run a lot smoother. Still a little fluctuation when aircon on but not much compared to before cleaning.

Was also going to look in to maybe getting the MAF changed do you think this would effect it?
