Advice please!?

Afternoon ladies and gents, I'm looking for some advice for a friend of mine - he's just gone and plumped for a 51 plate A6 2.7TQ with RS6s on. I was wondering if there's anything he should be looking for as regards common faults or problems. He's picking it up in the next few days, any hint/tips would be greatly appreciated

Best advice bring a VAGCOM and a laptop and view the parameters (i.e., O2 , EGT sensors, fault codes, engine operating values). If he is buying a 2.7T he will need to be familar with these.

Cheers Hobart. TBH, his car's going back to the garage as the engine management light came on towards the end of last week. They're paying though. I've also managed to get him to join ASN save me posting all his queries!! Thanks for the reply anyway, I'll pass on the info...
