i got an annoying squeel coming from my front passanger side wheel the noise goes away when i put the brakes on ive jacked the car up and it also does it if i spin the wheel manually im guessing its a dry wheel bearing???
theres no play in the bearing so can i just grease it up or would i need to replace the bearing and is there a how to for it?

it is not uncommon for wheel bearings to go, they are a pressed ball race bearing so you can't really regreese it and tighten it.
Bit of a pig of a job whole leg requires removing and thebearing needs to be pressed out, Dealers charge about 1.5hrs Labour to do job, bolts seize and then you have got probs but on the other hand can go really easy!!

Good luck

well i dont really wanna go to the stealers so i guess ill have to invest in a haynes manual how much does a bearing cost and do i need any special tools to do the job?

You will need a press for the bearing
It is not the easiest job to do on the floor as the topp bolt that holds the top wishbones to the leg seizes in sold and also needs to be pressed out, there is special tool you can get to remove this bolt though
If not going to a dealer goto specialist, but the dealer will quote a set price and if they need to do pee about they normally don't charge.

Take the wheel off and have a look and see what you think.
My money would be getting someone else to do it, and I have changed loads of these but now wouldn't attempt unless I could use a workshop.
