Hi everyone. I've just bought an A6 saloon (1.9TDi, 2002). Great car. Really impressed so far.

Will factory A4 5-spoke 17" "star" alloys fit straight on my car?

What tyre size is preferred for the A4?

Thanks.

To answer my own question, my enquiries so far confirm they will.
My question should have gone on to say "Which tyres will fit the A6?" (not A4!). I'm guessing that the rolling radius is the same on both cars?

both have pcd 112 , just check offset which will look something like et40 and you can use spacers to push it further out shouldn't be a problem. you can calculate rolling radius with alloy size + tyre wall, tyre wall is a percentage of tyre with, example 210mm width with 50 wall will have a 105mm wall. so add size of wheel 17" -> 432mm plus 2 x wall 105mm gives 642mm and compare to your standard wheel, around that size should be good enough

anyone correct me if i'm wrong
