Well, time has nearly come to replace the tyres on my car, /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif , so I'm after some advice/opinions/reviews.
'53 A6 1.9TDi Sport Saloon - totally standard, with 17" RS4s. Has had Michelin Pilot Primacy on since new. OK for wear, I guess, and dry handling pretty good. Road noise also seems good, but the car can be a bit tricky in the wet and on the greasy roads at this time of year.
There seems to be a lot of support for Goodyear GSD3s on the A4/A3 forums, but does anyone here have them on their A6? Better still, anyone gone from Michelins to the Goodyears? Any other suggestions - Dunlops for example?
One concern would be if the Goodyears made the ride quality worse - it is pretty hard already with the Sport spec, at least on the roads in the UK!
