Has anyone fitted bigger front calipers and discs to ther a6
?
I found a pair of front calipers and discs from a golf 4mo in my garage.
Any idea if they will fit my a6 (03 tdi)?

How big are the calipers ? The 4Mo use the ATE hp2 calipers which should fit but they have a weird caliper carrier. I have HP2 calipers and 320mm discs on my a6, they are the same brake calipers as on s4 but with smaller discs. They stop better than my other allroad fitted with rs4 b7 8pot calipers and massive 380mm 2 piece discs !

Uncertain which caliper they are? Standard golf 4 mo. Hp2? The discs and caliper are much bigger than standard.
Weird carrier?
In wot way?

I was thinking if a simple fit ill throw em on.
Loads of effort I wont bother.

Wont fit plugplay

This big enough for you?

They are the HP2 calipers but the offset is different. I would look at the hp2 calipers from a Allroad v6 tdi or a4/a6 2.0Tfsi or 3.0Tdi if you want a plug and play solution. Add 320mm brake discs with quality pads and you'll have more braking power than you need. What engine is in your car ? Presumably you have 288mm brakes, if you want a mild upgrade then the 312mm carriers and discs will work very well. I have a couple of sets here if interested...

312 discs with different carrier uses my calipers?
Carrier just moves the caliper out for bigger disc?
