Well, since i sold the 20" rotor/rs5 wheels to a friend, i needed another 2nd set of 20s... im now on gunmetal RS6 v10 wheels and that combination is not easy to beat.
So i bought a staggered set of 20" bbs lm style wheels and will try to put some tires on them this weekend and see if theyre worth keeping.
Put them in front and made some quick shots with the iphone, looks really fresh, what do you guys think? ( not fitted, just on stones atm)
Fronts will be adding a 20mm spacer, i need those to clear the 8 pots, and that will be a very tight fit the way i can Judge it now.
they look indeed stupid big on the pics, but trust me they dont look to big irl... i find them even on the small side
Just had a a quick look to see if they cleared the caliper, and with the 20mm spacer they clear quite good, theres around 6mm room left
Looks quite filled with the 390s
8.5x20 ET35 in front, now with 20mm spacer and + the 5mm one to get the right offset for the 390mm disc, here sits perfectly flush now with 8.5x20 ET10
The rears look like a tight fit because of the rearshock, im not sure about that, but well find out later on today
Rears will be 10x20 ET38, that would be 3mm more in then the previous setup with 9x20 ET35 and 12mm spacers, maybe ill need a 3mm spacer orso to make them sit perfect on the rear.
Well im still not convinced to be honest... will need to see it in daylight and outside before i can make judgement..
i took some small pics... even the 10J in the back needed the 12mm spacer to get flush with the rear arches.. very strange though, car looks much lower in the back, must be of the dish....
So setup as it stands
Fronts: 8.5x20 ET10 with 245/30/20
Rears: 10x20 ET26 with 255/30/20

I will be also ditching the dectanes, the more i see them the more im starting to hate them.. going back to completely RED lasered oem ones..
Also ordered the big Milltek oval tips , and those will be going on next month with the custom exhaust.... those look so much better then the stock ones
