A6 2000 Automatic Gearbox Needed

I am in the market for a secondhand automatic gearbox for an A6. If anyone knows of one or can tell whether anoter model gearbox will fit I would be grateful.
This is a petrol A6 Avant.

you put in the details of what you want, and they distribute it all over the place, all the breakers too etc.. the suppliers then call you direct..

I sourced a replacement (and V hard to find!) CVT auto gearbox for the Mrs' Micra through this.. got one with a 3 month warranty for just £275.. Nissan wanted £1800 + VAT.. 9months on its still ok!

Im sure ive seen a gearbox off a 2.8 quattro automatic on ebay.

think they wanted £75
