Roof rails, remove or refit?? opinion wanted

I am taking my rails off in the summer to have the roof painted, want the general opinion on filling holes or putting back on?

I dont know! I will never use the rails, wanted to make the car look a bit smoother and not so "estate".

What do you guys think????

having said that I've only seen 1 modded one without the bars, might look kind of fresh..but naked

I personally like the roof rails, il be taking mine off at some point to give them a good polish as mine have dulled down a bit

Toying with the idea of getting the aerial base deleted/smoothed though

Had a v6 tdi audi a4 estate at some point with no roof rails, it was a special option NOT to have roof rails, it did not look odd but to me it lost some of the practicality being specced with no rails ! I prefer having a condom and not use it than needing one and not have it !

Keep the roof rails mate. They add so much character to a sportback

Keep them, alot of work to remove and make good. You never know when you will need them
