As a new member I would like some advice please.
I have a 2004 A6 2.5 Tdi and whilst driving about 70mph my stability light appeared on dashboard followed by EML. The car then lost power and sounded very noisy.
Pulled over as quick as and stopped engine. The car took about 3 attempts to restart and when it did lots of black smoke from exhaust and sounded like a a million mile Transit van??
Car still starts and now glow plug light illuminated aswell?
Had a quick check around engine bay but as the noise is from within engine itself not sure where to start with this one?
Would appreciate any comments/ideas please
