Had a new windscreen fitted today after a lump of flint said hi and the stone chips all joined up.

Guy fitting it finished and said even though hes not a mechanic or Audi expert this looked wrong...

Had a look and found my A6 had its very own aquarium....

Seems the drain holes are blocked.....those that followed the rebuild will know that the last owner wasn't into cleaning...

Removed the battery and found a nice pool....complete with wildlife...

If you having a look I moved the loom instead of stripping the windscreen (again) so take note..

Couldn't see the drain so started to drain the water by suction...

Found the first drain and pushed out half a forest...

Car then wet itself...

Again blocked solid with foliage.

Clean up and plenty of maintenance spray

This is a well known problem on here. Total ****e design by audi. I just compleatly removed the rubber bungs. Nice big hole for the water now.

nice job on the pics !

Me too on this, cut the bungs down so they're less able to clog, my first few months of ownership consisted of this sort of preventative bodgery.
