Funny indicators

Hi all

My 1.9 a6 avant has a really strange thing going on ,that funny enough was brought on by the wife!
when indicating left or right the lamps stay on on that side ! But the hazzards work fine so i guess this is the flasher relay behind the hazzard switch or could it be owt else?

The hazard switch is the flasher relay.
Pull it out and put another one, should solve your issue.

common fault. new ones are cheap from tps.

the surrounding plastic just clips off, then pry the flasher unit out and unplug it. refitting is a reversal of the removal procedure.
