A6 2.5 TDI --- Getting the Viscous Fan OFF

Can anyone confirm if the viscous fan is held on by a left hand thread?
2 off 32 mm spanners tons of WD40
Much force used so far right hand with no movement.
Just thought I’d check before I go to ‘other measures’

Is a normal thread, only bmw's have a LH thread. You will need a very long 32mm spanner for leverage as idiot mechanics tighten them so much it's almost impossible to remove without damaging the coupling. Only a little nip it's enough to keep it in place...
