Headlight dimmer switch

Hi I'm after a bit of advice ! Is it possible to transfer the dash dimmer switch and manual height adjuster to a different headlight switch cluster on a 2002 A6 mines all scratched and worn I've found a new old stock one on eBay for a really good price but it's for a model with auto headlight height adjustment so could I transfer my manual height adjuster into the new switch
