A6 Dipped Headlight

Looking at getting some ne H1 lan=mps for my dipped headlights. The are currently 55w, can i upgrade the wattage to 100w.

The dipped headlights are pants on the old A6

Forget the bodge HID upgrade, police are cracking down on them !!

Maximum permitted wattage for road use is 55w so going to 100w risks the wrath of the police just as much as the HID kits. Better to try the legal high brightness options that are available. If you do go down the 100w route remember you will need to change all of the headlight fuses to allow for the higher wattage

Thanks for the info. Will stick to the 55W lamps !!!

Will have a look on ebay, i have tried the Osram night breakers. Didnt think much of them !

be wary of the 100w bulbs. they produce lots of heat and can melt the plastic head lamp lens! ive seen this!
