My key remote locking has become irratic. Sometimes the range is normal and sometimes the range is about 1 foot & very slow. Any ideas? Is there an external aerial for the signal?
I have checked for fault codes - none except (drivers door fail to dead lock) I assume that is irrevalent.
I have deleted and re programmed all the key fobs to the car.
I have changed the batteries in key fobs.
All the key fobs function the same.
I have chekced the central locking control module in footwell, all looks normal and no wetness
