That's a lot of car you got there for your money, how stupid it was to send the log book as scrapped, i hope it's not too much hassle getting the v5 back ! I bet she purrs like a kitten now with the new, rebuilt engine...i love the wheels, what are they some Votex ones ?
Good work keeping the old girl on the road, in my oppinion the build quality with audi peaked with the c4 and ended with the c5.

im still waiting for the dvla. ive rung them on wednesday (2 weeks since i sent it off), but all they can tell me is its being "processed" whatever that means lol.

the wheels are quite rare i think. they are genuine avus ur-s6 plus wheels, rare in the uk being that the ur-s6 plus (the c4 a6 with the 4.2 v8)
Audi Ur-S4 / Ur-S6 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
were only sold in germany.

the last of the audi 80's and this shape 100/a6 i agree after these models is when the build quality went slightly off.

Looks good mate, always liked them especially the Avant.
Almost as nice as my allroad:happy: .
Good job bringing it back from the dead as these cars will be the practical classics of the future.

v5 turned up. ive fixed the fuel lines. waiting to be able to afford to insure it.
