    180 AKE DMF and Clutch

DMF vibration at tickover has started to appear and seems to be getting more regular - it was horrible in M25 jam on Friday.

In a 2002 A6 manual Quattro Avant will it be Sachs or Luk? Does it matter or is Sachs the best for the job?

As well as doing full clutch and DMF is there anything else that should be done while its in bits?

    thanks for any help

Check the rear crank seal, if it looks perished then replace that whilst at it and make sure the clutch kit comes with a release bearing...

I used LUK as this is what is supplied from Audi genuine parts, parts still cost £600 with my discount. About £500 cheeper than Audi. It took longer to get the dual mass off than taking the trans out as it was that shagged. Mine had locked solid and needed pursuation with a large hammer to get access to the bolt heads.
