2 questions for a 1994 100 CS

Guys this is my first post on this forum, hope I receive some good answers to my problems.

1) My odometer is no longer functional what could be wrong? Speedo and tach works fine.

2) How can I adjust the driver's side windshield wiper? Never really wiped properly new blades or not, doesn’t seem to seat properly on the glass. Do I need to bend the wiper arm?
