Injector Leak !

Morning all

I have deisel leaking from the top of one injector. Can the seals be replaced?

Dont fancy forking out for a new one !

Wich seals do you mean, the tiny copper seals between the leak-off pipe's niple or the union ? The copper seals are available at the dealer about 75p each...

if its a copper washer, heat it with a blow lamp till glowing red hot then dunk into cold water.
iirc its called quenching and it softens the washer back up so it seals

Talking in my stupid terms, it seems to be leaking from the joint from the pipe nut to the top of the injector.

Does that make it any clearer ?????????

Have to get this sorted, noticed this morning deisel pooling on the engine !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anybody know of a liquid gaskit thats not effected by diesel ?

Use a 17mm spanner and tighen the union nut mate, it should stop the leak. If it does not then you will need a new set of pipes as they are not available separate ! I might have a spare one ine me van somewhere if you need one...

Great, Got the spanner on it...... hit it a few times with the hammer to tighten up. Worked a treat !!!!

Thats one leak sorted. But i have noticed a very small leak at the bottom of No2 injector. Would this just be a replacment of the "O" ring ??

Are they easy to remove ??
